Óscar Pantoja (1971) is a Colombian author and novelist. He was awarded the Alejo Carpentier Prize for his novel El Hijo and a national fellowship for short film by the Colombian Ministry of Culture. He has created love movies and horror movies. He was involved in several writing and audiovisual projects and he currently works as a freelance writer for newspapers, publishers, and film. His most recent project, the text of a graphic novel about the life of Jorge Luis Borges, will be published in December 2015.
