Myo Myint Swe

Myo Myint Swe (1933–90) was born in  Magyidaw, Shwebo District, Burma. A multitalented and prolific writer and artist, he authored more than five hundred poems, including several volumes of poems for children. He also wrote or co-wrote over 250 songs and produced over 750 paintings.  In 1967, he was awarded a Burmese National Literary Prize for Poetry.
