Miklós Vámos is a Hungarian writer who has published over forty books, many of them translated into multiple languages. He is the recipient of numerous literary awards, including the 2016 Prima Primissima Award, one of the most prestigious in Hungary.
His most successful book is Apák könyve, which has been translated into nearly thirty languages, including English (The Book of Fathers, Other Press, 2009; translated by Peter Sherwood). His selected writings have appeared in various publications, including TheForward, Hungarian Literature Online, The New York Times, and Tablet.
