José Eduardo Agualusa was born in Huambo, Angola, in 1960. He is the author of The Book of Chameleons, the winner of the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize for 2007. His previous work includes Creole, which was awarded the Portuguese Grand Prize for Literature and is a bestseller in Angola, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
Theodora Dimova is an award-winning writer and playwright. She graduated from Sofia University and has studied at the Royal Court Theater in London. She won the 2004 Razvitie (Development) Prize and the 2006 Austrian Grand Prize for East European Literature. She was a runner-up in the 2010 Contest for Contemporary Bulgarian Writers.
Naz Tansel is an artist based in Istanbul. She holds a degree in painting from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Since 2008 her work has been exhibited in many mixed exhibitions and workshops. She has produced illustrations for the Akbank Jazz Festival, the Nike Run Istanbul, and Smirnoff Limits Off. Since 2013 she has been producing illustrations for magazines and posters for theater.
Prabda Yoon is the author of short-story collections, novels, and screenplays. He has translated The Catcher in the Rye, A Clockwork Orange, and Lolita into Thai. His short-story collection Kwam Na Ja Pen won the 2002 S.E.A. Write Award. In 2017 Tilted Axis Press published the English translation of his PEN Translates Award-winning story collection, The Sad Part Was.
