Edward Gunawan is a multi-genre writer and literary translator based in the East Bay, CA. A queer Indonesian-born Chinese immigrant, they are the author of two chapbooks—including the Start a Riot! Prize-winning The Way Back (Foglifter Press, 2022)—and recipient of the Gabo Prize in Literary Translation and Multilingual Texts from the journal Lunch Ticket.
