Dmitry Biriukov

Dmitry Biriukov, prose writer and essayist, was born in 1979 in Novosibirsk, where he still lives and works as a journalist. He graduated  from Novosibirsk University and later took a postgraduate course at the Institute of Philosophy and Law. He also studied at the Literary Institute in Moscow. He has published stories and essays in literary journals in Siberia and in Moscow, and received the Debut Prize for his short stories in 2005.
