Anton Hur was born in Stockholm, Sweden. His writing and translations have appeared in Words Without Borders, Asymptote Journal, and Korean Literature Now. He is a Korean literature critic on TBS eFM’s The Bookend. He resides in Seoul.

Valerie Miles is a writer, translator, and editor living in Barcelona. She co-founded Granta en español and writes for the New York Times, El País, and the Paris Review, among others. Her work in Roberto Bolaño's archive produced the first exhibition on his papers. She is author of A Thousand Forests in One Acorn.

Saskia Vogel is a Pushcart-Prize-nominated writer and Swedish-to-English literary translator from Los Angeles living in Berlin. Her writing has appeared in GrantaThe White Review, and other publications, and she has translated work by leading authors, including Lena Andersson, Karolina Ramqvist, and the modernist eroticist Rut Hillarp.

Allison M. Charette founded the Emerging Literary Translators’ Network in America. She has received a PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant and been nominated for the Best of the Net. Her translation of Naivo’s Beyond the Rice Fields, the first novel from Madagascar to appear in English, is forthcoming from Restless Books.

Elisabeth Jaquette is a translator from Arabic, whose work has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, and elsewhere. Her first novel-length translation is Basma Abdel Aziz’s The Queue, which received an English PEN Translates Award. She was also a CASA Fellow at the American University of Cairo.

 

Mercedes Claire Gilliom is a French to English translator and graphic novel letterer living in Marseille. Her translations of graphic literature have appeared in Words Without Borders, and are either published or forthcoming from Europe Comics, Glénat in English, and Humanoids, Inc. She is currently studying literary translation at Aix-Marseille University.
