Edward Gauvin Wins Science Fiction and Fantasy Translation Award
By Susan Harris
We're thrilled to report that our magnifique translator Edward Gauvin has won the Science Fiction and Fantasy Translation Award for his rendering of Georges-Olivier Châteaureynaud's Life on Paper: Stories. The collection was also short-listed for the Best Translated Book Award. Edward published his very first Châteaureynaud translation, "Delaunay the Broker", in WWB; he's currently wrapping up a Fulbright year in Belgium, where he's been researching and translating Belgian fantasists.
