Matthew Lansburgh

Matthew Lansburgh lives in New York, where he works as an attorney for the New York Public Library, Astor, Lenox and Tilden Foundations. He is currently working on a book of short stories, and he attended the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference in 2007....

His poetry has been published in The Quarterly, and his story "California" received an Honorable Mention in the 2007 Zoetrope: All-Story Short Fiction Contest. He received an M.A. in Romance Languages from Princeton University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. As a graduate student, he presented a paper on Jorge Luis Borges at the 45th Annual Kentucky Foreign Language Conference and a paper on Federico García Lorca at the 24th Annual Northeast Modern Language Association Convention.
