Margaret B. Carson

Margaret Carson translates contemporary poetry, fiction, and drama from Latin America. Recent translations include Virgilio Piñera's “Electra Garrigó” and Griselda Gambaro's “The Camp,” published in Stages of Conflict: A Critical Anthology of Latin American Theater and Performance (2008). Her current projects include Mercedes Roffé's The Radiance of Things and Sergio Chejfec's My Two Worlds. She teaches in the Modern Language Department at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
