Canan Marasligil

Canan Marasligil is a writer, screenwriter, editor, and literary translator, working mainly in French, English, Turkish, Dutch, and Spanish. Born in Istanbul (1979), and brought up in Brussels, she currently lives in Amsterdam. Canan is currently editor and translator of Meydan | la place, a yearly anthology of contemporary Turkish writers presented by French e-book publisher Publie.Net (http://meydanlaplace.net). She is also web editor for the  European Cultural Foundation’s “Narratives for Europe” online platform. Canan has been professionally involved in comics for the last three years, focusing on the UK, Belgium, Algeria, and Turkey.
