Boris Fishman is a writer, editor, and translator. His work has appeared in Harper's, the New York Times, the American Scholar, and other publications. His first book-length project, Wild East: Stories from the Last Frontier, a collection of stories about Russia and Eastern Europe in the post-Communist years, has just been published (Justin, Charles and Co.). He lives in New York City.
