Bitite Vinklers is a translator of Latvian folklore and contemporary literature. Her translations have been published in anthologies and periodicals including The Paris Review, Seneca Review, Words Without Borders, Circumference, and Denver Quarterly. She has recently finished a booklength manuscript of her translations of selected poetry by Imants Ziedonis. She lives in New York.
